Phil's Profile

Phil is the Business Manager at Eagle Direct and brings leadership, organisational development and business process skills to supplement the creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship of the business.

Phil completed his schooling at Christchurch Boys’ High School then attended the Royal Military College Duntroon where he was commissioned as an officer. Phil served in a variety of leadership, operational and training roles during his career and was deployed to Bosnia with NATO in 1996.  During his military career, Phil also completed a Bachelor of Arts (Politics), Master of Business Studies (Management) and a Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies.

Phil has had other roles as HR Consultants and in operations and functions. This background, with experience in retail, manufacturing, sales, distribution and consulting, has prepared Phil for the challenge of management at Eagle Direct.

Phil is married to Maree and has two teenage children. Phil has been active in sport through his adult life, and is currently Club Captain for High School Old Boys Rugby Club where he still plays social rugby.  Golf is his other outdoor escape during the summer.
